Going back in time to 2020 Friendly Brand Co-Founder/CEO Darrin Gatto was introduced to the Owner/CEO of The Smoker’s Club, Jonny Shipes. Thankfully to our well-respected mutual friend Zain Nadeem. A classic case of friends introducing friends, Zain felt the brands could create something unique that would be coveted by the cannabis industry… Needless to say he was onto something. As samples were shared, the seed was planted.
From there, Jared Liner Owner/COO of The Smoker’s Club, (a well-known NYC-based brand at the intersection of live music events, cannabis and lifestyle) spent two years with Darrin working on the design concepts for this collaboration. Jesse California, a well-known designer put pen to pad intertwining both brands expressed in the unique packaging for the collaboration.
